Arobas Personnel is currently seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer (Playwright) for a long-term contract with an innovative technology-driven organization.

This opportunity is ideal for a quality-focused professional who is passionate about test automation, software reliability, and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in establishing and enhancing automated testing practices while collaborating closely with development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright.

- Build and enhance scalable, maintainable, and reliable test automation frameworks.

- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery practices.

- Execute and optimize functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.

- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve test coverage and application quality.

- Identify, document, and monitor defects through resolution.

- Analyze testing results and provide actionable insights through quality metrics and reporting.

- Mentor team members and promote QA automation best practices across projects.

Required Qualifications

- 5 to 7 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.

- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright or a comparable automation framework.

- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for automated testing.





- Experience implementing and maintaining automated tests within CI/CD environments.

- Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies, including:

- Functional Testing

- Regression Testing

- API Testing

- End-to-End (E2E) Testing

- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools, such as Jira.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Assets

- Experience testing real-time or mission-critical applications.

- Knowledge of API testing, performance testing, and load testing tools.

- Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure.

- Experience working with containerized testing environments.

- Knowledge of AI-assisted development and testing tools, including GitHub Copilot and similar cloud-based AI solutions.
