Senior Relationship Manager – Contingent Workforce Program
Location: Toronto, ON
Work Model: Hybrid – 1–2 days per week in office
Contract: 12 months, with potential for extension and conversion to FTE
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM | 37.5 hours/week
Overtime: Not required

What You'll Be Doing Strategic Business Relationship Management
- Act as a key relationship partner for three priority Strategic Business Units (SBUs) while maintaining engagement across all seven SBUs.
- Build strong relationships with Senior Director and VP-level stakeholders , conducting regular touchpoints to understand workforce priorities, upcoming hiring needs, and contractor utilization.
- Proactively identify workforce trends, upcoming demand, risks, and opportunities.
- Translate business workforce plans and hiring demand into actionable insights for the supplier network.
- Track and communicate key program metrics, including headcount, program spend, savings, rebates, and program utilization.
- Increase SBU participation by demonstrating the business value, savings, and benefits of the contingent workforce program.
- Develop and present executive-ready PowerPoint presentations, summaries, and performance updates .
Supplier & Vendor Relationship Management
- Manage relationships with current and prospective staffing suppliers and serve as a key point of contact for program communications.
- Partner with leadership to facilitate quarterly supplier business reviews and align suppliers with upcoming workforce requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance against key KPIs, including:
- First-Time Quality of talent submissions
- Time to Fill
- Rate card and markup adherence
- Program compliance
- Competitive hiring process adherence
- Identify and address supplier performance issues and non-compliance,
working collaboratively with vendors to develop solutions and prevent recurrence.
- Partner with the MSP, Allegis , to assess market conditions and recommend potential rate card adjustments.
Reporting, Data & Executive Insights
- Bring together quantitative and qualitative information from business and supplier relationships to create a clear picture of overall program performance.
- Analyze trends and identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Partner with the Director to develop materials for senior leadership and SVP-level reporting .
- Connect financial data, including savings and rebate opportunities, to broader business outcomes.
- Turn complex information into clear, concise, and compelling executive-level stories .
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience managing and influencing senior stakeholders at the Senior Director and VP level , including the ability to constructively challenge stakeholders when appropriate.
- Strong communication and executive storytelling skills, with the ability to turn complex information and data into clear recommendations.
- Strong PowerPoint skills and experience creating executive presentations, business reviews, and summaries .
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple relationships and competing priorities in a rapid-paced environment.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to identify trends, anticipate needs, flag risks, and recommend improvements.
- Strong business judgment and professionalism when working with sensitive workforce and financial information.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with a Vendor Management System (VMS) ; Beeline experience is an asset.
- Background in contingent workforce management, MSP programs, staffing, procurement, or vendor management .
- Experience working with staffing suppliers and understanding supplier performance metrics.
- Strong Excel skills, particularly for reporting and data analysis.
- Previous HR experience.
