Job details
Start date: May 2026
Duration: 8 or 12 months
In this role, you will:
Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
Assist in coordination of maintenance projects in a processing plant, water treatment facility or mobile maintenance; responsible for organizing, scheduling and monitoring the status of maintenance projects
Monitor project budgets and identify inefficiencies and offer cost‑effective solutions
Collaborate with the engineering team to produce detailed designs for mechanical projects on site such as upgrades to equipment or building facilities
Support reliability maintenance initiatives including failure and root cause analysis
Coordinate the plan and schedule for maintenance shutdown work
Support operations and work with skilled trades to troubleshoot equipment failure and develop repair scopes of work
Create and evaluate creative ideas and technologies to help improve the way we do business
Requirements:
Working toward an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering
A valid Class 5 Driver’s License or extra‑provincial equivalent, without learner’s restrictions
Comfortable working in a dynamic industrial work environment with a range of engineering, technical and operational personnel
Motivated self‑starter with the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously
Strong written,
verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a capability to communicate complex ideas to all levels
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access); a solid understanding of AutoCAD and SolidWorks would be advantageous
