- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
- MINIMUM 5 years working in a metal/metal parts or related manufacturing workplace
- Strong management, planning, and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to identify, prioritize, and address problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget
- Ability to work independently
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience managing a multi-cultural workforce
Responsibilities
- Plan the production schedule
- Manage the production process in accordance with Quality Management System
- Meet or exceed KPI's
- Establish standard labour hours and measure variances
- Create, implement, and improve standard operating procedures
- Manage the process to ensure first pass meets or exceeds quality standards
- Calculate the labour and material costs for each project
- Manage preventive maintenance schedules
- Ensure compliance to established quality processes
- Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programs
- Implement policies and goals across different departments
- Enforce compliance health and safety standards and procedures in plant
- Coach and develop employees
- Supervise and motivate the production teams
- Ensure the performance of the employees meets set standards
- Participate in projects relating to manufacturing
Compensation
- Salary: $85,000 - $92,000/year plus year end bonus
- Shift: Day Shift (Mon - Fri) but must have flexibility for various shifts as needed, time in lieu of
