The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority seeks a Glaucoma Ophthalmologist for a full-time, permanent role at the University of Manitoba. This position includes an opportunity for academic rank at varying levels based on experience.

The successful candidate will deliver outstanding patient care, engage in quality education of residents, and work on impactful clinical research. This role demands strong surgical and diagnostic skills and offers the chance to work within a team-oriented department committed to advancing the field of ophthalmology.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive patient-centered ophthalmic care
• Mentor and teach residents and medical students effectively
• Pursue clinical and translational research initiatives




• Execute surgical procedures with high competency
• Drive quality improvement efforts in the department

Requirements:
• M.D. with specialization in Ophthalmology
• Completion of Glaucoma subspecialty training
• Certification eligibility with the Royal College
• Strong background in teaching and resident training
• Excellent diagnostic and surgical skills required
