Contract: August 31, 2026 – January 1, 2027

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer with extensive experience in Java-based application development, modern web technologies, database development, and application modernization. The successful candidate will work on both legacy and contemporary applications , delivering enhancements, resolving defects, and developing new solutions in a cooperative Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, coding, testing, integration, and deployment of application components.
- Develop web-based user interfaces using Angular and Node.js .
- Design and develop backend applications using Java, J2EE, EJB, Spring Boot, and Web Services .
- Develop database queries, scripts, application components, and data migration solutions using Oracle and PL/SQL .
- Work with business analysts and QA teams to translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
- Modernize legacy applications while following established government IT standards and best practices.
- Perform coding, debugging, unit testing, functional testing, regression testing, and performance tuning.
- Identify and resolve defects, vulnerabilities, performance, and availability issues.
- Prepare deployment packages and coordinate application releases across test, staging, and production environments.
- Conduct code and design reviews and provide recommendations on technical solutions.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, solution designs,



source code, and deployment specifications.
- Participate in workshops, demos, project meetings, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
- Provide estimates, status updates, technical recommendations, and support throughout the SDLC.

Must-Have Qualifications

- 15+ years of overall software development experience , with 10+ years of relevant experience .
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, EJB, Struts, and Spring Boot .
- Experience with Web Services, XML, Angular, Node.js, and UI development .
- Strong experience with Oracle, PL/SQL, relational databases, and database development .
- Experience with Shell scripting and DevOps tools.
- Experience with IBM WebSphere and enterprise application environments.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Forms/Reports and Oracle Application Suite , including extracting usable information from legacy applications.
- Experience interfacing Java applications with relational databases.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment and remediation .
- Knowledge of AODA/accessibility requirements and report/PDF generation.
- Strong experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
