Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary Range: $126,000 to $176,140

Shift Information: Monday to Friday, 35 hours work week

Job Summary:

Provides strategic financial, resource-management, and analytical support to Toronto Cyber Security.

Leads operating and capital budget planning, forecasting, variance analysis, financial controls, workforce reporting, and procurement support.

Supports the Cyber Security PMO by developing Power BI dashboards and translating financial, project, procurement, and resource data into actionable insights.

Applies practical knowledge of cyber security to understand project requirements, risks, schedules, and investment priorities and to support effective portfolio decision-making.

Major Responsibilities:

- Leads operating and capital budget preparation, forecasting, account monitoring, reconciliations, variance reporting, and financial-control activities supporting cyber security operations, projects, technology investments and strategic initiatives.
- Identifies material financial and resource variances and recommends corrective actions to management.
- Provides financial, procurement, and resource-management advice to cyber security leadership and the PMO.
- Develops and maintains Power BI dashboards integrating financial, procurement, staffing, and project data to support management decision-making.
- Supports cyber project portfolio planning, business cases, investment analysis, and financial reporting.
- Maintains workforce forecasts and staffing records, reviews payroll data, and resolves discrepancies.
- Ensures expenditures and purchasing activities comply with approved budgets, policies, and financial controls.

Qualifications/Certifications:

- Post-secondary degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Professional accounting designation, such as CPA, is an asset.
- Extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.




- Experience managing operating and capital budgets for cyber security programs, technology projects, managed services, infrastructure, and software licensing.
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Excel and computerized financial reporting systems.
- Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and data visualizations.
- Experience developing financial models, business cases, and executive-level analysis.
- Experience providing financial and resource-management support to a PMO or project portfolio.
- Experience monitoring and reporting on project expenditures, resource utilization, staffing costs, and portfolio performance metrics.
- Knowledge of cyber security concepts and experience supporting technology or cyber security projects.

- Able to work extremely well under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Self-motivated team player who takes initiative and can work independently.

Additional Comments/Information:





The normal work week is 35 hours. Occasional extended hours may be required with limited notice to support urgent business, budget, reporting, or cyber security priorities.
