Join a dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU). Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals recovering from surgical procedures while ensuring their safety and well-being.
In this Relief Full-Time role, you will assess and manage post-anaesthetic patients' care effectively. Collaborating closely with a diverse healthcare team, you will adapt care strategies as needed and ensure proper documentation of assessments and interventions. Engage in mentorship roles while enhancing your clinical skills through ongoing education and participation in quality care activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and document care for post-anaesthetic patients.
• Initiate treatment as per medical directives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on care plans.
• Ensure adherence to safety and therapeutic standards.
• Mentor and support recent nursing staff and students.
Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized Nursing program.
• Active BCCNM registration as a Registered Nurse.
• At least one year of clinical experience in PACU.
• Competency in intravenous therapy initiation.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
