Empower residents' well-being as a Rehabilitation Worker with AgeCare in Salmon Arm, BC. Facilitate therapy programs to maximize residents' independence with a focus on personalized care.
In this temporary full-time role, you'll help assess, plan, and deliver therapy interventions under the supervision of Rehabilitation Professionals. You'll ensure accurate record-keeping, monitor resident progress, and participate actively in team meetings. This position is vital for encouraging residents to thrive by maintaining their maximum functioning levels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review daily reports and communication binders • Collect data and identify resident needs • Monitor therapy participation and report on status changes • Maintain accurate clinical records and equipment inventory • Conduct daily environmental safety inspections
Requirements: • Certificate or Diploma in Rehab Therapy Assistance • Current First Aid and Food Secure Level 1 certifications • Fluent in English, both written and spoken • Experience working with seniors • Union membership required for employment
