Backwoods Energy Services is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for their forestry operations in Alberta. Operators will work with a variety of forestry equipment, including mulchers, feller bunchers, processors, skidders, and excavators. This is an excellent chance for safety-focused individuals to join a leading Indigenous-owned company and work on large-scale land-clearing projects. Minimum 2 years’ experience operating one or more of: Feller Buncher, Processor, Skidder, 250 HP Forestry Mulcher, or Excavator Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract Standard First Aid certification CSTS 2020 certification Ground Disturbance Level II certification Physically capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions Willingness to work rotational shifts, overtime, weekends, and travel as required Ability to successfully complete a practical competency assessment What Will Make You Stand Out
