The Vice President (VP), Legal and Compliance provides executive direction and leadership to the Legal and Compliance Division of the Workers' Safety and Compensation Commission. The VP has overall accountability for strategic direction of Policy, Legislative Review, and Codes of Practice under the Workers Compensations Act(s), Safety Act(s), Mine Health and Safety Act(s) and Explosive Use Act(s). As well as Program Development and Stakeholder Engagement, Communications and Translations, Legal and Investigations, Audit, and the first level of external appeal through the Review Committee.

As a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT), the Vice President, Legal and Compliance participates in the executive management of the division in support of the WSCC's Vision and Mission. The Vice President is responsible for ensuring internal and external cooperative networks are established and maintained.

- A graduate degree in management, administration, political science, law (or related field) combined with 8 years of directly related experience. This includes 5 years of senior leadership experience in a related discipline.
