Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Upsell menu items to increase sales and promote specials or new offerings in a friendly, non-intrusive manner
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties and processing payments
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations according to sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food preparation meets quality standards and guest expectations
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting overall restaurant operations




- Ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally
- Follow all food safety regulations and restaurant policies to uphold a safe environment for guests and staff

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of the food industry standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty
- Robust time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, billing, and change calculation
- Previous experience in serving roles that involve upselling, guest services, or hospitality is highly valued
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation processes is a plus but not required
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure seamless service delivery
