Langfab Fabricators Ltd. is looking for experienced Truck & Trailer Service Repair Technicians to join our growing team in Surrey, BC. If you're a skilled mechanic with experience in truck and trailer repair, welding, and fabrication, we'd love to hear from you.

Available Shifts

Day Shift

- Monday to Friday
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Afternoon Shift

- Monday to Friday
- 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- Shift premium available

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair truck and trailer systems and components
- Perform welding, fabrication, and structural repairs on steel and aluminum truck and trailer components
- Repair and install truck and trailer electrical wiring and lighting systems
- Install, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, PTOs, valves, cylinders, and hydraulic plumbing
- Repair and service trailer suspension, brake, and air brake systems
- Test equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
- Complete inspection reports and accurately document repairs and maintenance performed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Qualifications




- Welding and fabrication experience is required. 1+ year experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Commercial Transport Mechanic or Truck & Trailer Technician
- Experience with air brake, hydraulic, electrical, and ABS braking systems
- Completion of a mechanical or technical training program is considered an asset
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Comfortable using a wide variety of hand and power tools
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Physically capable of lifting, bending, and working in a fast-paced shop environment
- High school diploma or GED (technical training preferred)
