Shipper – Permanent Full-time Position ADL West Royalty, Charlottetown, PE Amalgamated Dairies Limited (ADL) is a producer-owned cooperative celebrated for its excellence in dairy processing and foodservice distribution across Prince Edward Island. Position Overview: As a Shipper, you'll help ensure our dairy products are accurately picked, organized, and shipped to our customers. Your day will include loading and unloading trucks, preparing customer orders, moving products throughout the warehouse, and keeping products properly stored and rotated. This is a physically active role in a refrigerated warehouse that requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to safety.

Location: ADL West Royalty, Industrial Park, 50 4 St, Charlottetown, PE Work Environment and Schedule:

Fast-paced warehouse environment.

Physically active work, including lifting, moving products, operating pallet jacks, and keeping the work area clean.

Work in a refrigerated warehouse while following safe work practices.

We are hiring for two Shipper positions with different shift schedules:

Early shift: typically start between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM and generally end between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM.

Later shift: typically start between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM and generally end between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM.





Exact start and end times may vary based on operational needs.

Both positions follow an alternating Wednesday/Saturday schedule: you will work either Wednesday or Saturday in a given week, but not both Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload trucks, organize pallets, and handle returns Pick and prepare orders based on delivery schedules and load sheets Receive incoming products, check accuracy, and store them properly Rotate and stock products in refrigerated, frozen, or dry areas Use handheld devices and computers for inventory and order processing Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of docks, coolers, and equipment Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures Complete paperwork accurately and on time Assist with training and support other warehouse tasks as needed Compensation and Perks:

Requirements

Proven experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations Physically capable of lifting, standing for long periods, and working in cold, fast-paced environments Able to operate pallet jacks and handle palletized loads safely and efficiently Working knowledge of food safety, workplace safety, and sanitation procedures Proficient with handheld scanners and basic computer systems used for inventory and order processing Strong attention to detail, with consistent accuracy in order picking and documentation Reliable and self-directed, with a strong sense of accountability and urgency Available for early morning shifts, weekends, and versatile scheduling based on operational needs Communicates clearly and effectively with team members and supervisors to support secure operations, proper material handling, and adherence to food safety protocols Ready to join our team?
