Nelson Lumber Grande Prairie is looking for Shipper/Receiver. Teh successful candidate will work as part of the retail yard team to deliver material to our valued customers and provide customer service within our busy lumber yard.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Operate forklifts, loaders and hand tools.

· Daily shipping and receiving for a busy retail location.

· Updating ERP system with shipping and receiving data.

· Must be able to pick out and fill Customer orders accurately and courteously.

· Load and unload materials as necessary.

· Keep warehouses, equipment, and yard tidy and safe.

· Communicate effectively with customers and staff.

· MUST be physically capable of lifting 75lbs on a regular basis.

· Observe company safety rules. Is responsible for reporting any hazards or unsafe acts.

· To complete any other tasks which may be assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:





· Must be willing to participate in a productive team environment.

· Must have a valid forklift ticket.

· Must be committed to working 5 days a week/ 8 hours per day, plus OT when necessary.

· Computer skills an asset.

· Must have class 5 driver's licence.

Wages are paid every 2 weeks.
