Duties

- Manage inbound and outbound shipments using warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software such as MRP or AS400 platforms
- Prepare packages for shipping, including proper packaging, labeling, and documentation to ensure safe delivery
- Load and unload freight using equipment like reach trucks or forklifts (certification preferred) to handle large or heavy items efficiently
- Conduct order picking and order fulfillment activities accurately to meet customer expectations in e-commerce environments
- Verify inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and update warehouse distribution records to maintain accurate stock levels
- Coordinate with carriers for timely pickup and delivery schedules, ensuring all shipments adhere to company standards




- Utilize basic math skills for measurements, quantities, and calculations necessary for order accuracy and proper load balancing

Experience

- Prior experience in warehouse management systems (WMS), MRPs, or AS400 platforms is highly desirable
- Hands-on warehouse experience with shipping & receiving operations, including order picking and packing procedures
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and inventory control methods
- Experience operating reach trucks or forklifts (certification preferred) in a warehouse setting
- Knowledge of e-commerce order fulfillment workflows and packaging standards
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order processing and documentation
- Basic math proficiency for measurements, quantities, and calculations related to shipping tasks
