Duties

- Accurately receive incoming shipments by inspecting, verifying, and documenting deliveries using warehouse management systems (WMS) and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, and labeling products with attention to detail to ensure proper order fulfillment.
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Manage order picking and packing processes to meet customer specifications and delivery deadlines.
- Maintain organized storage areas, ensuring products are stored securely and inventory is easy to locate using warehouse distribution best practices.
- Conduct routine inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and update records in AS400 or similar systems to keep stock levels accurate.




- Follow safety protocols during all shipping, receiving, and warehouse activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in shipping & receiving procedures.
- Valid forklift certification and experience operating reach trucks or similar equipment.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or MRP software for inventory control.
- Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting packages, loading/unloading trucks, and standing for extended periods.
- Experience with order picking, packaging materials handling, and e-commerce order fulfillment is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills to coordinate with team members.
