Overview

Join our dynamic logistics team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, where you'll be the vital link ensuring smooth and efficient movement of goods in and out of our warehouse. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your warehouse management skills to support order fulfillment and distribution processes. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help us maintain high standards of accuracy, safety, and productivity.

Responsibilities

- Accurately load and unload shipments using equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks, ensuring safe handling of all goods.
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and MRP (Materials Requirements Planning) software to track inventory, process shipments, and update records.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including proper labeling, sealing, and documentation, to ensure secure delivery.
- Pick, pack, and organize orders efficiently for timely dispatch, supporting order picker activities as needed.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists; inspect for damages or discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular inspections.
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts,



and stock replenishment to support accurate warehouse distribution.

Qualifications

- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures.
- Valid forklift certification with experience operating forklifts and reach trucks safely.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 systems, or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Experience with order picking, packing, loading & unloading goods in an e-commerce or distribution setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors effectively.
