Shop Production & Fulfilment Assistant The Rugby Shop

Position: Full-Time, On-Site

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Pay: $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience

About the Role The Rugby Shop is looking for a reliable, motivated and hands-on Shop Production & Fulfilment Assistant to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an on-site Monday to Friday position focused on the production, personalisation and fulfilment of sporting garments and customer orders.

The successful candidate will have some previous experience in garment printing, heat pressing, production, order fulfilment or a similar role. You will be responsible for printing and pressing logos, names and numbers onto sporting garments, processing orders through Shopify, and accurately picking, packing and labelling orders for shipment.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and can work efficiently in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Printing and pressing logos, names, numbers and other designs onto sporting garments
- Operating heat presses and garment printing equipment
- Preparing garments for printing and ensuring designs are positioned correctly
- Checking finished garments for quality, accuracy and presentation
- Processing customer orders through Shopify
- Using customer and order information to prepare orders for dispatch
- Printing and applying shipping labels
- Picking, packing and labelling customer orders accurately
- Ensuring orders are completed and dispatched on time
- Maintaining an organised, clean and efficient production and packing area
- Monitoring stock and reporting issues with garments, materials or equipment
- Following production and quality-control procedures
- Assisting with general shop and warehouse duties as required

About You The ideal candidate will:




- Have previous experience in garment printing, heat pressing, apparel production, order fulfilment or a similar position
- Have experience operating a heat press and/or garment printing equipment
- Be comfortable using computers and online order-management systems
- Ideally have experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms
- Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Be organised, reliable and punctual
- Be able to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality
- Be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- Have a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
- Take pride in producing high-quality finished products

Experience That Would Be an Asset Experience with any of the following would be considered an advantage:
- Heat transfer vinyl (HTV)
- DTF or DTG printing
- Sublimation
- Commercial heat-press equipment
- Garment personalisation
- Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
- Shipping and order fulfilment systems
- Sporting apparel or teamwear
- Retail, warehouse or production environments

Compensation & Benefits
- $25–$30 per hour to start, based on experience and skill level
