Job Summary

Caisley Developments is seeking an experienced Site Foreman to lead residential construction projects throughout Vancouver and the surrounding areas. This role is responsible for overseeing daily site operations, coordinating crews and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who takes pride in mentoring teams and maintaining an organized, productive job site.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Site

- Take responsibility for the project from site setup through deficiency completion.
- Manage a rolling two-week look-ahead schedule.
- Coordinate and sequence trades to keep the project moving.
- Make sure each trade has the right conditions to start before they arrive.
- Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and professional job site.
- Protect completed work and finishes throughout construction

Production
- Perform hands-on framing, site-built carpentry, structural modifications, and finish carpentry.
- Install Caisley Millwork packages and coordinate directly with the millwork shop confirming site dimensions and coordinating delivery and installation timing.
- Troubleshoot field conditions and find practical solutions. Identify issues that could affect cost, schedule, quality ,or design intent

Stay on Top of the Details
- Identify scope changes as soon as they arise and make sure they are properly documented before additional work proceeds.




- Complete daily site reports, including photos, labor hours, trade attendance, weather, and delays.
- Receive and check material deliveries against purchase orders.
- Maintain material inventory and tool accountability.
- Accurately track personal and crew hours.

Lead the Team
- Supervise carpenters, helpers, labourers, andapprentices.
- Verify apprentice hours and help develop the skills ofjunior team members.
- Give clear direction and expectations.
- Address problems directly and professionally.
- Help maintain a respectful, productive, and safety-focused job site.

Qualifications

- 3–5 years of experience as a Site Foreman or Lead Carpenter
- Robust knowledge of residential construction methods, tools, and materials
- Comfortable with both rough and fi nish carpentry.
- Able to read construction drawings and understandproject specifi cations.
- Strong understanding of residential constructionsequencing.
- Organized and able to keep accurate records.
- Confi dent coordinating multiple trades.
- Practical problem-solver who can make good decisionsin the fi eld.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $42.00 per hour
