Site Manager | Remote Exploration Project | Guyana | On-site An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Site Manager to join a remote exploration project in Guyana, supporting an active exploration programme in a challenging and rewarding environment.

This is a hands-on site-based role, responsible for ensuring the exploration camp operates safely, efficiently and effectively, with a particular focus on the day-to-day coordination of camp operations, logistics and site services.

The company is currently progressing an exciting exploration programme in Guyana , with an active field operation and drilling programme underway. With an experienced technical leadership team and an ambitious exploration strategy, this is an opportunity to join a growing organisation at an important stage of its development.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the field operation and ensuring the remote site continues to operate safely, efficiently and effectively.

Key responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the remote exploration camp
- Coordinate logistics, supplies, fuel and inventory to ensure the site is adequately supported
- Manage relationships with contractors and local service providers
- Support procurement and general camp requirements




- Monitor site expenditure and assist with budgeting and cost control
- Coordinate camp services and general site requirements for employees, contractors and local personnel
- Work closely with the exploration team to ensure operational requirements are met and the drilling programme can run efficiently

The camp currently supports approximately 26 personnel , comprising employees, contractors and local labour.

About you:

- Experience managing remote camps, sites or operations, ideally within mining, exploration, oil & gas, construction or another remote operating environment
- Strong organisational and logistical skills
- Comfortable working hands-on in a remote environment
- Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers and site services
- Commercially aware, with an understanding of budgets, costs and inventory
- Solid communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse site team
- Previous experience in Guyana or a similar remote environment would be advantageous

The opportunity: This is an opportunity to take on a key operational position within a growing exploration programme, working closely with the technical and field teams and playing an important role in keeping the operation running effectively.

Roster: Expat FIFO, expected to be approximately 26 days on / 9 days off
