Grey Bruce Contracting is hiring a reliable, experienced Skilled Trades Worker for residential renovation and construction projects throughout Owen Sound and Grey-Bruce.

This is not an entry-level labour role. You must be able to complete selected finish work—especially trim work and flooring—independently with general direction from the project lead. Other work includes painting, framing, window and door installs, fences, and decks.

Responsibilities

- Independently complete trim work, baseboard, casing, flooring, and related finishing tasks
- Assist with painting, framing, window and door installations
- Help build and repair fences, decks, and outdoor structures
- Follow project direction, take accurate measurements, and maintain quality workmanship
- Safely use hand and power tools
- Keep jobsites clean, organized, and professional





Qualifications
- Proven experience with trim work and flooring installation
- General residential construction or renovation experience
- Able to work independently while communicating clearly with the crew and project lead
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Reliable, detail-oriented, safety-minded, and physically capable of construction work
- WHMIS and Working at Heights certification are assets
