We are currently seeking a skilled trades professional to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a skilled individual who thrives in a diverse work workplace, tackling a variety of tasks with expertise and finesse.

A valid, clean G license is a must!

Responsibilities:

- Perform a wide range of construction tasks including carpentry, demo, drywall, painting, general and finishing work to support various project phases.
- Picking up materials, laying floor protection, performing other general labour duties as needed
- Collaborate closely with project managers, site supervisors, and office staff to ensure the highest quality outcomes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve onsite challenges with innovative solutions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work setting, adhering to all safety protocols and standards.
- Communicating with other trades on site to ensure that the job is done to the highest standard.

Qualifications:

- Valid Ontario G Class Driver's Licence (required).




- Clean driver's abstract is mandatory and must be provided upon request.
- Must be able to report to our office at 1535 Michael Street, Ottawa, ON by 7:00 a.m. each workday.
- Transportation to and from job sites is provided in a company vehicle from the office each morning.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Previous construction or renovation experience is considered an asset but is not required.
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction projects
- Experience in residential construction
- High work ethic
- Ability to read drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and skill development.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
