Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic softball Coach to lead and develop our youth softball camps. The ideal candidate will possess strong teaching skills, a passion for sports, and the ability to motivate young athletes. This role involves planning practices, instructing players on techniques, and fostering a positive team environment to promote skill development and sportsmanship.

Duties

- Plan and conduct engaging softball practices focused on skill improvement, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Teach fundamental softball techniques including batting, pitching, fielding, and base running
- Develop game strategies and provide guidance during competitions
- Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback to help athletes improve
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages teamwork and respect among players
- Communicate effectively with parents, players,



and other coaching staff regarding team updates and player development
- Organize team events, drills, and community outreach activities

Skills

- Proven experience in teaching or coaching softball or related sports
- Solid leadership abilities with excellent communication skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes of varying skill levels
- Knowledge of softball rules, techniques, and safety procedures
- Experience in swimming is a nice-to-have skill that can be beneficial for multi-sport coaching or water safety awareness
- Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude to foster a supportive learning environment

Job Type: Seasonal Pay: From $20.00 per hour
