Title Software Developer – ETL

Description Design, implement, and expand ETL pipelines for data warehousing. Translate technical specifications into tested applications, resolve technical issues, and support migrations. Collaborate across IT teams throughout the SDLC.

Responsibilities & Skills

- Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes using PL/SQL, SQL Server, Python, and Azure Data Factory.
- Develop data models (relational & dimensional), automate pipelines, and ensure scalability.
- Troubleshoot ETL issues, propose solutions, and maintain documentation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data assets.
- Apply structured methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) for design, testing, and deployment.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; proven ability to meet deadlines.

Technical Skills (40%)

- 5+ years in data warehousing design, star/snowflake schemas.
- Advanced SQL (PL/SQL, TSQL), scripting (Python, Unix shell).
- Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, Google.
- Hands-on with Azure SQL Server & Data Factory pipelines.
- Experience with relational DBs (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server).
- Data migration/integration across platforms; performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch, GitHub, JIRA,



Azure DevOps.

Core Skills (30%)

- Technical analysis, design, coding, and unit testing.
- System design models, documentation, and integration assessments.
- BI & data analytics, dimensional modeling.
- Leadership in technical projects, proof-of-concept testing.
