Role Description The Software Quality Assurance Engineer is a remote role responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and usability of AICines.ai’s platform and features. Day-to-day work includes designing and executing manual test cases, validating new functionality, performing regression and integration testing, and documenting defects clearly for engineering teams. The role collaborates closely with software developers, product managers, and UX designers to clarify requirements,



identify edge cases, and improve overall product quality.

The engineer may also contribute to test planning, support release readiness activities, and suggest process improvements to strengthen the quality assurance framework as the platform scales.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Software Quality, Quality Assurance, and Software Quality Assurance practices, including test planning and execution.

Hands-on experience with Manual Testing of web or SaaS applications, with attention to detail in functional, usability, and edge-case scenarios.

Familiarity with Software Development concepts, workflows, and issue tracking tools, enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams.

Experience creating clear test cases, test reports, and defect documentation; ability to communicate issues and risks concisely.

Knowledge of basic automation concepts or willingness to learn automated testing tools and frameworks is a plus.

Understanding of APIs, browser-based applications, and cross-platform testing; exposure to media/streaming or AI products is beneficial.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

Ability to work independently in a remote workplace, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively with a distributed team.
