Contract: 1 year + potential 9-month extension

Monday to Friday | 7 hours/day

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect / Maximo Technical SME to support a large-scale enterprise transformation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with IBM Maximo, Cloud transformation, enterprise integrations, and work management systems .

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical architecture, solution design, and technical strategy for IBM Maximo and related enterprise solutions.
- Act as the Maximo Technical SME throughout implementation, integration, testing, and production transition.
- Lead the design and development of Maximo applications, customizations, and interfaces with other enterprise systems.
- Support requirements gathering, business process mapping, technical design, data migration, and solution implementation.
- Review and validate vendor solutions to ensure they meet business and technical requirements.
- Support application, integration, functional, regression, and UAT testing.
- Identify technical issues and participate in root cause analysis and resolution.
- Provide technical guidance to stakeholders, vendors, project teams, and leadership.

Must-Have Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in software development,



systems engineering, solution architecture, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience with work order/work management systems and IBM Maximo implementations.
- Robust hands-on experience with IBM Maximo 7.6 / 7.6.1.2 .
- Working knowledge and development/upgrade experience with MAS 9.1 .
- Strong knowledge of Maximo modules including Work Order Management, Asset Management, Preventive/Corrective Maintenance, Configuration, Scripting, Reporting, and Integrations .
- Experience integrating Maximo/asset management applications with ERP and other enterprise systems .
- Experience leading enterprise Cloud transformations , including Cloud adoption and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) .
- Public sector experience is required.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a technical advisory/consulting role; utility industry experience is an asset .
