Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated chef to lead our culinary team and ensure the delivery of exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have experience cooking with a forno pizza oven. possess strong leadership qualities, extensive restaurant and kitchen experience, and a passion for food preparation and service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee all aspects of food production, maintain high standards of food safety, and foster a collaborative team environment within a dynamic hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

- Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality food preparation

- Oversee food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations

- Lead food preparation and cooking processes to meet menu specifications and presentation standards

- Manage team members, including training, scheduling, and performance management

- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless serving of dishes and excellent customer service

- Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage kitchen equipment maintenance





- Develop recent menu items in collaboration with culinary management while maintaining consistency with existing offerings

- Uphold a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and hospitality excellence

Requirements

- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service environment

- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively

- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures

- Experience in restaurant management or hospitality industry preferred

- Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate across departments

- Demonstrated ability to serve high-quality dishes consistently under pressure

- Passion for the food industry with a commitment to culinary excellence

- Prior experience in food service or restaurant settings is essential

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
