We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join the leadership team at a busy, well-established independent breakfast and brunch restaurant in North Vancouver.

This is a great opportunity for a passionate kitchen professional who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in consistency and quality, and wants to be part of a robust team without the late nights that come with traditional restaurant schedules.

We’re looking for someone who leads by example, stays organized under pressure, and is excited to help develop a team while delivering an exceptional guest experience every service.

Responsibilities:

- Support the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
- Lead service and maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Coach, mentor, and support kitchen team members.
- Assist with ordering, inventory, prep planning, and food cost control.
- Maintain excellent standards for cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
- Work closely with management to improve systems and kitchen operations.

What We’re Looking For:

- Previous experience as a Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, or experienced Senior Line Cook.




- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in a high-volume breakfast, brunch, or lunch environment is an asset.
- Ability to stay calm and organized during busy services.
- A positive, team-focused attitude and passion for hospitality.
- Someone who takes pride in their craft and wants to grow with a restaurant
