Base Pay Range
CA$120,000.00/yr - CA$130,000.00/yr

Our client, a growing and well-established organization in Oshawa , is seeking a Manager of Finance to oversee core accounting and financial reporting functions while supporting business planning and operational decision-making. This role is being recruited by an external recruitment firm on behalf of the employer.

This opportunity is well suited to a hands-on finance leader who enjoys owning the numbers, improving processes, and partnering with leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, and payroll oversight

Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes

Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with ASPE

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Support cash flow management and working capital optimization

Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and procedures

Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors





Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management

Support system improvements, reporting enhancements, and process efficiencies

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience

Prior experience in a Finance Manager, Accounting Manager, or similar role

Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel

Experience with ERP or accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics, or similar)

Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
