You will handle approximately 40 cases, conducting interviews and processing applications under the Housing Act 1996. Your expertise will guide clients through initial triage to main duty decisions. Key Responsibilities:
Interview clients to resolve housing problems




Process homeless applications under Part VII of the Housing Act
Advise clients to prevent homelessness effectively
Assess eligibility for private sector options
Update and maintain Personal Housing Plans (PHPs) Requirements:
Experience with local authority housing roles in the last two years
Knowledge of the Homelessness Reduction Act
Solid IT and admin capabilities
Ability to manage a demanding caseload
