Share your passion for art and sports as a Specialty Program Instructor at the John W. Lindsay YMCA. This part time role focuses on engaging community members through dedicated programs.
As part of your responsibilities, you'll design and instruct six-week specialty programs that cater to diverse interests like arts and recreation. You will build meaningful relationships and provide necessary support to participants, ensuring a safe, inclusive workplace. Your role helps in strengthening community bonds and enhancing the overall YMCA experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and propose engaging program frameworks
• Provide coaching and supportive feedback to participants
• Ensure positive and clean program environments
• Promote relevant YMCA programs for participant wellness
• Adhere to all established YMCA policies and protocols
Requirements:
• Current Intermediate First Aid and CPR Level C certification
• Robust interest in health, fitness, and community service
• Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport
• Organizational skills with attention to detail
• Preferred experience as a certified coach or instructor
