These roles are ideal for aspiring Lifeguards looking to enhance their expertise and progress within the ranks. As an Apprentice Lifeguard, you will work towards obtaining your National Lifeguard Service (NLS) certification, while Junior Lifeguards, holding an NLS, bolster pool safety. Positions are available from mid-May to late August; full-time and part-time options exist.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with public swim and lane swims
• Work alongside experienced Lifeguards and Instructors
• Ensure safety during scheduled programs
• Maintain communication with pool crew and patrons
• Develop lifeguarding skills in a team setting
Requirements:
• National Lifeguard Service (NLS) certification preferred
• Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Explicit RCMP Criminal Reference Check
• Respectful interaction with staff and public
