Your role will focus on disinfecting patient rooms and common areas effectively. This position involves various tasks crucial to maintaining a clean workplace within Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre. You will be trained to perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and operating industrial cleaning equipment.

Your responsibilities also include restocking supplies, emptying hazardous waste, and identifying potential hazards, ensuring compliance with AHS standards. Key Responsibilities:
Disinfect patient rooms and clinical areas efficiently
Operate industrial cleaning equipment for floors
Sweep, mop, and vacuum various locations
Restock supplies and linens as needed
Report hazards to your Working Leader Requirements:
Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent education
Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 30 lbs
Knowledge of computer operations
Previous cleaning experience preferred
Willingness to work diverse shifts including weekends Ensure cleanliness and safety in healthcare facilities as part of Alberta Health Services.
