Job Title: Spotter

Location: Windsor, Ontario

Shift: Days

Overtime Available

Wage: $26.00 to $35.00/hour

Our client, a well-established tool and mold manufacturer in the Windsor area, is currently seeking an experienced Spotter to join their growing team. This position is ideal for an individual with strong plastic injection mold spotting experience who takes pride in quality workmanship, precision, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

- Fit mold components including slides and gibs

- Operate a surface grinder

- Use hand air grinding tools to create proper seals between mating components

- Perform mold assembly and disassembly

- Complete handwork including stoning parting lines and master pockets

- Work with hydraulic systems

- Perform minor welding repairs when required

- Understand mold functions including undercut and crash conditions





- Read and work to customer standards and specifications

- Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently

- Ensure quality and safety standards are maintained at all times

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of mold spotting experience

- Experience working with plastic injection molds preferred

- Knowledge of mold functions and spotting processes

- Welding experience is considered an asset

- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced setting

- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

- High school diploma or equivalent required
