POSITION DESCRIPTION: Production Specialists will be monitoring product/material quality performance through applicable areas, from receiving, pin through-hole, surface mount components, finished PCBA and box level assemblies, and when applicable secondary and mechanical operations (coating, potting, stamping, painting, etc.) but not limited to these areas where the product or process inspections may be required. The Production Specialist will be able to support other functions required by the supervisor, such as assembly operations.RESPONSIBILITIESInspecting products or components by confirming specifications, conducting visual inspection and measurement tests (whichever applies), and rejecting unacceptable materials (not limited to raw materials or subassemblies)Perform inspection using defined inspection tools (microscope, calipers, CMM, AOI or similar inspection device)Inspection of assemblies through the manufacturing processPerform product assembly as required by the organizationAbility to operate visual inspection devices applicable to the operation (i.E.
