Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end full cycle accounting process, ensuring all transactions are recorded in accordance with ASPE.
Lead the timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close of the general ledger.
Oversee and record accruals, prepayments, and adjusting journal entries.
Manage revenue recognition activities to ensure compliance.
Own fixed asset accounting, including maintaining depreciation schedules, tracking additions/dispositions, and conducting periodic audits.
Perform reviews of AP and AR aging reports, identifying delinquent accounts or payment discrepancies and coordinating with teams for resolution.
Prepare comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations supported by detailed schedules to ensure account integrity.
Monitor cash balances daily to ensure adequate liquidity and support cash flow forecasting.
Review employee expense reports,



ensuring adherence to company policies.
Act as the primary point of contact for audit support coordination, preparing PBC schedules and explaining variances to external auditors.
Provide ad-hoc support to the VP of Finance as required, including financial analysis, special projects, and board-level reporting.
Design and implement process improvements and automation tools to reduce manual entry and shorten the close cycle.
Maintain and update internal control documentation to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA designation is a plus.
Experience: 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong background in audit coordination and full cycle reporting. Xero accounting software experience is a plus.
