This position emphasizes relationship management with ministers’ offices and aligns CUCM’s priorities with emerging governmental actions. By tracking political changes and preparing executive teams for key meetings, you will ensure CUCM's interests are proactively represented. Key Responsibilities:
Build relationships with ministers' offices and political staff
Anticipate emerging government priorities impacting credit unions
Prepare executives for government meetings with transparent objectives
Lead the Manitoba Credit Union Advocacy Working Group
Coordinate participation in national committees and forums Requirements:
5 to 7 years in government relations or public policy
Experience within a minister’s office or legislature
Proven ability to initiate meetings and opportunities
Solid communication skills for complex issue synthesis
