Make an impact in the kitchen as a Cook II, responsible for preparing food items and managing meal service standards. This role combines culinary skills with team leadership in a fast-paced kitchen workplace.
As an Experienced Cook II, you will skillfully prepare and cook menu items, ensuring high-quality and secure food production. You will also oversee the storage and labeling of food supplies while assisting in training junior kitchen staff. Your role will be crucial in maintaining kitchen efficiency and serving nutritious meals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare food via various cooking techniques
• Evaluate and adjust dishes for taste and presentation
• Organize daily cooking and serving schedules
• Manage food storage to minimize waste
• Guide and train junior cooks in best practices
Requirements:
• Completion of a 12-month recognized cooking program
• One year of related culinary experience
• Food Secure Level 1 certification
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Capability to physically manage cooking tasks
