Professional Staffing has partnered with a well-established Non Profit in Edmonton in their search for a Finance Manager role. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Finance Manager will be responsible for all accounting operations, including month-end close, oversight of budgeting and forecasting and grant reporting. If you have a passion for working in the NFP Sector, this is a rapidly expanding organization with a stellar reputation supporting community programs.

Base pay range
CA$90,000.00/yr - CA$110,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Month end close and Financial Reporting

Preparation for year-end audits

Compile and analyze financial statements

Grant Management reporting and analysis

AGLC reporting for casinos, raffles and events





Complete department budgets, forecasts and variance analysis

Tax compliance and regulatory filings

Qualifications

CPA Designation is an asset

At least 3 years of professional experience in the Non for Profit Sector

6+ years of full cycle accounting - Month-end close

Grand and Fund Reporting Experience

Familiarity with ASNPO and GAAP Accounting Standards
