Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Financial Accountant to join a leading auctioneering company in North America. Reporting to the Controller/Assistant Controller, the Financial Accountant will facilitate financial reporting and compliance across multiple Canadian entities. The role involves working closely with Operational and Corporate Finance Teams, contributing to the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, working papers, and conducting variance analysis.
Required Skills and Experience Minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting role
University degree in finance or accounting
Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle Cloud and Salesforce
Preparation of monthly journals with supporting documents
Monthly SG&A; and P&L; variance analysis for multiple entities




Running reports from the accounting system to support the team
Balance sheet account reconciliations
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize tasks, and meet stakeholder expectations
Intermediate knowledge of US GAAP
Monthly financial analysis to understand variances and provide insights to senior management
Nice to Have Skills Progress towards Canadian CPA designation (preferred)
