Senior Associate, Engineering at ML6 Search + Talent Advisory The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced Supervisor Aircraft Completion to lead a team of skilled aircraft technicians through the completion and final assembly phases. This role is critical to ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance while supporting on-time aircraft deliveries. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the Aircraft Assembly team
Assigning tasks and distributing workloads based on technician skillsets and operational priorities
Providing technical support and troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently
Ensuring all work complies with safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Conducting regular performance evaluations and offering coaching and feedback to team members
Supporting aircraft deliveries in collaboration with Customer Support and Sales teams
Identifying process gaps and driving improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Serving as the key liaison between employees, leadership, and cross-functional departments
What You’ll Need To Be Successful:
A college diploma or university degree in Aircraft Maintenance
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance, including at least 5 years working on Helicopters.
At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
Proven troubleshooting abilities and strong technical acumen
High attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to leadership
