Become part of the Humber River Health team as a General Internist at Hennick Humber Hospital, covering a parental leave from November 2026 to July 2027. Youll provide comprehensive medical care while contributing to the academic mission.

This locum position requires managing a broad range of adult medical conditions in both outpatient and inpatient environments. You will work closely with residents and medical students, facilitating learning and development while collaborating with other specialties as needed. Additionally, participation in clinical research projects is highly encouraged.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive outpatient and inpatient medical care
• Conduct evaluations and create tailored treatment strategies
• Coordinate with other specialties for complex conditions




• Take part in on-call rotations for inpatient services
• Provide patient education and counseling to improve wellness

Requirements:
• Experience in General Internal Medicine essential
• Membership or eligibility in the Ontario College of Physicians & Surgeons
• Certification required from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
• Previous exposure to outpatient clinics and on-call duties
• Strong ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary workplace
