Role Purpose
The Compounder batches a large variety of raw materials to create cosmetic, toiletry, and drug product formulas in accordance with the company SOPs, GMPs and government regulations.
Timing
Day 6:30am – 2:45pm
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Plans and coordinates equipment and facility requirements to meet short‑and long‑term scheduling objectives.
May assist in developing more junior staff through training.
Improves the profitability by output and efficiency of the batch.
Follows GMP procedures in compliance with government and corporate regulations/guidelines.
Follows SOPs in compliance with government GMPs and corporate objectives.
Ensures the schedule is followed to meet set timelines.
Responsibilities may include manufacturing pilot batches and participating in troubleshooting problem batches.
Qualifications and Experience
B.Sc. in Sciences desired but not required.
3+ years of compounding experience.
The ability to multi‑task and work under pressure.
Basic math skills.
Problem‑solving,
decision‑making skills and troubleshooting capabilities.
Physical Demands
Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
Pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds.
Repetitive movement over extended periods.
