Staff Pharmacist – Full-Time

Naz’s Pharmacy is a community-focused, independently owned pharmacy group serving communities throughout the BC Lower Mainland. We are committed to providing personalized, patient-centered care and building strong relationships with our patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

We are currently looking for a dedicated, motivated, and patient-focused Staff Pharmacist to join our team.

This position is open to licensed pharmacists in British Columbia, including new graduates. We are looking for someone who is eager to grow professionally, embrace change, and contribute to a positive and collaborative pharmacy environment.

Position Summary

As a Staff Pharmacist, you will support day-to-day pharmacy operations while providing full-scope pharmacy services and high-quality patient care. You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and participate in specialty pharmacy programs, including Home Monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day pharmacy dispensary operations, including receiving, preparing, packaging, dispensing, distributing, and storing medications.
- Provide comprehensive clinical services, including:
- Medication reviews
- Drug-use evaluations
- Prescription adaptations
- Injection administration
- Prescription and non-prescription counseling
- Minor Ailment Prescribing and contraception services
- Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products accurately by calculating, measuring, and mixing medications and other ingredients.
- Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and community partners to optimize patient care.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels and assist with inventory management.
- Identify patient needs and opportunities to improve pharmacy services.
- Support the development and implementation of pharmacy growth strategies.




- Follow and promote pharmacy policies, procedures, legislation, and best-practice standards.
- Ensure prescriptions are prepared and delivered accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide appropriate patient counseling and maintain accurate documentation.
- Create a welcoming, professional, and positive experience for patients and healthcare partners.
- Participate in community outreach, public relations, and patient education initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current Canadian Pharmacist license in valuable standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC.
- Injection certification.
- Experience with pharmacy software; Kroll experience is preferred.
- Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completion of the required training.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to assess patient needs, develop appropriate care plans, and apply clinical knowledge.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to support the Pharmacy Manager and pharmacy team.
- Willingness to both receive and provide constructive coaching and feedback.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to a changing healthcare and pharmacy setting.
- Additional training and certifications are considered an asset.
