Bayshore Medical Personnel is looking for a part-time Conscious Sedation Registered Nurse in Petawawa, ON. Enjoy Monday-Friday daytime shifts without nights or weekends.

This position requires a motivated RN with at least one year of experience in parenteral conscious sedation. You'll provide important nursing services in a dental clinic setting, managing sedation and ensuring patient safety. Your role is crucial in supporting patient recovery and discharge after procedures, as part of a team-oriented dental team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide essential pre-operative nursing and education
• Initiate and oversee conscious sedation procedures
• Monitor patients' cardiac and respiratory health




• Recognize post-operative complications and address needs
• Discharge patients in safe conditions post-procedure

Requirements:
• RN Diploma or Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited institution
• Current provincial RN license and BLS certification
• Valid ACLS certification in accordance with guidelines
• Minimum of 1 year experience in sedation nursing
• Up-to-date N95 mask fit and WHMIS certification
