As part of Ciena's WaveLogic Software Development team, you will play a crucial role in developing the WaveLogic Test Platform. This position offers exposure to complex embedded systems and demands your expertise in implementing software and resolving system issues with cutting-edge technologies. Collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams is key.

Key Responsibilities:
• Drive software implementation across embedded CPUs and optical components
• Apply Linux kernel and memory management concepts
• Design diagnostics and applications in C, C++, and Python




• Debug and improve system performance and throughput
• Develop scripts and tools to enhance engineering processes

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years experience in Linux kernel drivers
• Robust skills in Embedded C and C++ programming
• Awareness of Yocto containers and Docker
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
