What You’ll Do

Work safely in a mining environment and follow the procedures and policies that are in place

Receive instructions or work order, then plan, layout, and determine work procedure and required tools for assigned work

Inspect, diagnose, adjust, repair, fabricate, modify, and install plant equipment

Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and report deficiencies

Maintain appropriate housekeeping and keep tools in good state of repair

Play a critical role not only ensuring your own safety, but also the safety of others

Complete training as required

Work in the field, mine, or shop as required

Operate equipment such as personnel carriers, lube trucks, forklifts, mobile/fixed cranes in the mine as part of maintenance duties

Perform duties as assigned by supervisor

May be required to work shift work, may have the opportunity to work overtime

What You’ll Bring

Must have a valid Saskatchewan or Interprovincial Certificate of Journeyperson Status (Red Seal) as either an Industrial Mechanic or a Heavy Duty Mechanic

Grade 12 or equivalent required





Ability to work 4-5-5-4 Days and Nights rotation, commute shift

Previous experience in an industrial environment is an asset

Positive safety behavior and safety leadership

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in the field or shop environment

Ability to interact positively with co‑workers and supervisors

Ability to work safely and effectively in a labour‑intensive team workplace as well as independently

Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training

Stable work record
