Manage all facets of the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ Housing Program in hitac̓u, BC. This full-time Housing Manager role emphasizes operational leadership, financial oversight, and community relations.
Your primary function will be to oversee the housing operations, ensuring the effective management of Government Rental housing and execution of tenancy agreements. You'll partner with finance for budget monitoring and provide leadership to the Housing Coordinator and Tenant Relations Coordinator. The position also entails adapting housing policies in accordance with local laws and community needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead daily housing program operations and service delivery
• Supervise staff and oversee tenancy matters
• Coordinate financial reporting and budget adherence
• Update policies to reflect community standards
• Act as the community’s primary housing contact
Requirements:
• Educated in Public Administration or related discipline
• At least five years in housing or property management
• Knowledge of tenancy laws and First Nations context
• Must have experience with budget management
• Pass a criminal record check
