Lead impactful archaeological initiatives across Ontario as a Field Director. Focus on mentoring teams and guiding projects that preserve cultural heritage while ensuring compliance with regulations.

This role, located in Whitby, Burlington, Mississauga, or Ottawa, places you at the forefront of significant archaeological work. You will manage field surveys and excavations, provide mentorship, and actively work with Indigenous communities to support projects that matter. Your leadership will ensure high-quality outcomes and compliance in every field endeavor.

Key Responsibilities:
• Direct archaeological field surveys and data collection
• Motivate teams to achieve high-quality results
• Identify and interpret artifacts during excavations




• Support project proposals and technical reporting
• Uphold health and safety standards in fieldwork

Requirements:
• Degree in Archaeology or equivalent qualification
• Active Skilled Archaeological License by the Ministry
• Solid experience as a Field Director or in comparable roles
• Knowledge of digital tools like Field Maps
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be ready to travel
